Graduation Pictures

The new apartment that I am renting right now is pretty high class. I am saying that because this building has concierge. =D This compensate for the expensive rent that I am squeezing out of my pocket! Honestly, having a concierge in the building is the best! My graduation pictures has recently arrived and it came in by registered post. I am usually not home till like late 7.00pm. Nevermind. I had the concierge to receive my parcel! Yay! It saved me the trouble of collecting them from the post office! And then I have someone to greet me every morning when I am on my way out!

Anyway, ever since my graduation ceremony I have been anticipating the arrival of my official graduation pictures taken by professional photographer. It was rather expensive but it was all worth it when I saw the pictures. They look so pretty!! Especially the picture of Bean and I. I finally have a picture of him and me in my room!

I love the picture so much that I quickly went and bought a photo frame to protect it. I spent $30 on the photo frame (it was on 50% off which Bean STILL complains that it was expensive! which ALL my friends said it was a very beautiful frame which was an opinion that I did not ask from them!). So bottom line is- I spent on a very worth it beautiful frame for a picture of US!

A month back when I was choosing which picture to be reprinted, I thought of getting one for Bean as well so that he could keep one for himself.

Bean: Okay. I will keep it in my room.
Mum: Tell Bean if he keeps in the room who's going to see it!
Me: Mum asked who is going to see the picture if you keep it in your room?
Bean: Fine! I will put it on my office table!

Wahahahaha... Somehow I know this fella going to give me some stupid reason of not doing it. And the email went...

Wahahahaa... Both email he replied, 'OH NOOOOOOOOOO'

LOL!!! Funniest email ever!

Day 3 Without My Best Friend

Dear Sui Po,

Today was my first trainee meeting. Guess what was the first thing I saw? An excel folder was opened and there was your name- big and clear. It was the list of all the intern and student pharmacists name. Sigh... everyday I live my days being reminded that you are not with me.

This meeting actually freak me out. There are so much to do in such short span of time. They can't help it but kept repeating... 'By the end of this meeting, you should be shit out', 'Exams is in 13 weeks!', 'Have you read Guidelines 5.3.3.3?'. Geee!!! Give me a freaking break! Ugh. Trainee year sucks! Hopefully your intern year will be better than mine!

Dinner is done. Our naked chef cooked today. Talk to you soon!

Love,
Sei Po

Day 1 Without My Best Friend

Dear Sui Po,

It has been 21.5 hours since you left me. I went through the day just fine but each time my eyes land on the picture frame you bought for me, the reality hits me again that you have left for good. The picture was meant to be for you to bring it back home so that you would have some sort of our memories that we built together! Now you are forcing me to stare at your face everyday. How can I not miss you like that?

And just now I passed by the Lonsdale St's Hungry Jack's. The memory of four years ago came pouring in. Our first 'Welcome Ball'. You were in your Miss Selfridge dress looking gorgeous. At that time I was the skinny walking stick. Ugh. I don't understand how I could stand myself back then. Anyway, that moment was pleasant. Because it was about you and me.

Love,
Sei Po

Ikea The Place To Be

It was the only day that I could sleep in till god knows what time. Eventhough I slept till 11.00am, it still doesn't feel enough to recharge my energy which I had used up throughout the week for work. Full time job sux in a way that it doesn't allow you to take any afternoon nap. And I am an afternoon napper. Blekz.

I slept till 11.00am and was too excited to head to Ikea with my friends for brunch and some shopping. I reallllyyyy love their meat balls! And their never ending Lipton tea supply. Ahhh... bliss! After the meals, we did a quick tour around Ikea. I was eyeing for a document tray. One thing I love about Ikea is their stuff are at such a reasonable price with fantastically beautiful design. The document tray that I found in the city was priced at $13.00 per tray. I needed three trays which would ended up costing me $39.00. No way I would pay such a price!! Ikea's dokument tray (that's the way Ikea name it) cost only $15.00 and look way more beautiful than the ones I found in the city!

Then Ikea sucked me into buying a pot of Thyme, a candle plate and a candle. Bean asked what was the candle for buy which I replied, 'Oh... I bought candle so that I could save electricity! Got scent one! And it was on discount! Two bucks!' Bean retorted, 'You bought it because of the discount la!'

Whatever man!

The worst part is Ikea sucked us into buying their Ikea friends. Each stuffed toys cost $0.49. I had no idea who came up with the idea of 'why-not-all-of-us-buy-one-and-we-will-bring-it-along-after-three-years-for-reunion?' We ended up having five of them. Each representing one of us. To prevent us losing them and replace them with a new one from Ikea, we are planning to plant a signature on the stuffed toys. Haha...

The bear, the hippo, the croc, the elephant and the lion will be reunited again in three years along with my friends and I.
